  • While staying at Black Bear Den, you have access to most amenities inside of Eagles Nest as described by the host management. Amenities include:
    • Great Camp: BBQ Pavilion, Amphitheater (location of summer concerts from May to the end of November), The Great Lawn, Playground, Hiking Trails, Ropes Course and Climbing Tower (seasonal), Mini-Golf Course, 24/7 Dollar General concept store
    • North Pavilion: Ball Field, Sportsmans Lodge (unlocked portion only), Sports Court (Basketball and Pickleball), Dog Park, Walking Trail, Sportsman's Grille (Wed-Sun. Hours vary), Fire Pit, Woodland Trail System (ATV Trails, Hiking, Biking)
    • Camp (BYO Equipment): Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Disc Golf, Archery (Restrooms and Pavilion coming soon)
    • Vineyard: Food and wine served. Eagles Nest Winery Day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each. HOURS: Thursday & Friday 4pm-10pm. Saturday & Sunday 1pm-7pm
      • All visitors to the winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.
  • Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. These are for member use only.
  • Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals, visit offroadadventuresnc.com.

Policies and Rules

  • Cancellation policy: Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Please inquire about travel insurance for last minute bookings.
  • No smoking allowed inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
  • Minimum age of primary renter: 25 years. This person is required to sign the agreement and must be staying at the property for the reserved dates.
  • Children allowed.
  • No events allowed.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment, etc.).
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.

Pet Policy

  • The listing states that 1 mature, well-trained dog with a maximum weight of 30 lbs is allowed. Additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax applies. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. (Note: Source data indicates a maximum of 99 pets, but listing restricts to 1 dog; see conflicts section.)

Fees and Payments

  • The front entrance is monitored by a Ring doorbell for safety (facing front entrance only).
  • Main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March. Chains may also be necessary in winter months.

  • Eagles Nest is an up-and-coming community, with construction currently ongoing in several neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
